Dear Friends of Our Foundation,
We are thrilled to bring you exciting news from the heart of Northern Thailand! Next week, we embark on a remarkable journey to our "Garden of Eden" workshop, perched on top of a majestic mountain. Just yesterday, our dedicated team, comprising four members in two trucks, embarked on a five-hour journey into the bustling city to gather tons of cow manure, essential mixtures, supplies, and tools. This marks the beginning of our extraordinary four-day workshop, where we will be teaching children and local hill tribe communities the invaluable skills of creating their own soil and the fundamental art of growing their own food.
What makes this project truly remarkable is its scale. We are not just focusing on a small garden; we are nurturing a garden that will feed hundreds of people! Our approach is rooted in natural farming techniques, emphasizing sustainable methods that differ from modern practices. This week, we are laying the foundation for a greener future for these children, inspiring them to cultivate their own food and explore the wonders of various plants, fruits, and vegetables. The knowledge they gain will be shared with their home villages, creating a ripple effect of wisdom and self-sufficiency.
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for all the recent donations we've received over the past 2-3 months. Your generous contributions have been instrumental in making this project a reality. Moreover, we are excited to announce that our new Kitchen and Bathroom project is set to commence on October 1st, further enhancing the lives of the communities we serve.
In our pursuit of these transformative initiatives, we believe that we are sending a powerful signal from the top of the mountain: with faith, love, and support, anything is possible. Together, we are creating a brighter future for these children and their communities, and we invite you to be a part of this incredible journey.
Stay tuned for updates from our "Garden of Eden" workshop as we share stories of growth, learning, and empowerment. Thank you for being a beacon of hope in the lives of those less fortunate.
With gratitude and determination,
Jimmy Kostro
