Dear Friends, The newsletter for this week is arriving a few days earlier than usual because I'm starting my 2-day trip back to the future in South East Asia. And let me tell you, trying to put words together while cruising in the sky has me feeling like a dictionary caught in a tornado. ✈️🌪️
As I find myself back in and around my affluent hometown, surrounded by the abundance and comforts it offers, I am filled with deep gratitude for the life I have been blessed with. This visit is not only a time to reconnect with family and a few friends but also a reminder of the responsibility that comes with such privilege.
Amidst the luxury, I am reminded of my transformative experiences in Northern Thailand, working with disadvantaged communities. The stark contrasts between these two worlds fuel my determination to create a positive impact and drive change for those less fortunate. My time spent on the ground has opened my eyes to the immense power we possess in making a difference, regardless of where we come from.
